One Card per Driver or Truck

Create a card for each driver or each vehicle in seconds, name it after the unit, and see its spend separately. Add a card when a truck joins the fleet, close it when the truck is sold.

Fuel-Only or Open Categories

Restrict a fleet card to fuel merchant categories, add maintenance and parking, or leave it open for everything a route needs. Rules are set per card and changed in a click.

Elibrium transaction feed showing fleet purchases by driver and vehicle

Every Swipe in Real Time

Fuel, tolls and repairs show up in the transaction feed as they happen, by card and by driver. Freeze a card at the first odd purchase instead of finding it on next month's statement.

Give every driver a card you control

Open an account for your US-registered fleet, issue driver cards the day you are verified, and set the limits and categories that fit each route.

Fleet expense management without a fuel network lock-in

An Elibrium fleet card works wherever Visa is accepted, so drivers are not routed to specific stations, and you still decide what each card can pay for.

Merchant Category Controls per Card

Allow fuel, maintenance, parking or tolls and block the rest. Each card has its own rules, so a mechanic's card and a driver's card differ.

Questions media buyers ask us

Still have questions?

A fleet card is a payment card issued to drivers or assigned to vehicles so a company can pay for fuel, maintenance and road expenses without cash or personal cards. Elibrium fleet cards are virtual Visa cards for US-registered businesses. Each card has its own limit, expiry date and allowed merchant categories, and every transaction is visible in real time.

A fuel card is a closed-loop card tied to a fuel network, often with per-gallon pricing and station restrictions. An Elibrium fleet card is an open-loop Visa card accepted wherever Visa is, with controls you set: fuel-only, fuel plus maintenance, or fully open. Elibrium does not offer fuel discounts. Fleets that value station-network pricing keep a fuel card and use Elibrium for everything else.

Whatever you block. Elibrium lets you set merchant category (MCC) controls per card, so a card can be limited to fuel stations, or to fuel, parking and repair shops, while restaurants, retail and everything else are declined. You can also set a per-card limit and an expiry date, and change any rule from the dashboard whenever the job changes.

Generally there are no fees. International transactions cost 1% + $0.30, and cards issued beyond your free quota cost $2 issuance plus $2 per month per active card. ACH and wire top-ups carry no platform fee. Cashback of up to 1.5% is available depending on transaction volume, average payment, the US to international ratio and your decline rate.

Yes. Because Elibrium issues Visa cards, a driver can pay at any station or repair shop that accepts Visa, subject to the merchant categories and limit you set on that card. There is no station network to stay inside. Cards can also be added to Apple Pay and Google Pay, so a driver can pay from a phone at the pump.
